Geeze, why don't we work on some kind of sign-in sheet for newbies?

Hey, guys. I need updates and stats so I can revise the newbie guide - new safe areas, monsters, anything that we can use to make things easier on people who arrive. Anyone have anything for me, before I put the new one out?

You know, I think I had a dream like this once!

It -- didn't end well.

... Suki!? Where are you?!

Did anyone save my newbie guide from before? I want to update it.

So, these "teevee" things suddenly started working, and while I'm not familiar with the technology here, I think it'd e best to see if there are any other programs or if there's a way to keep it on at all.

I've got some time to jot down a few notes, so I'm going to leave these here for you guys.

1. The Reporters.

Hope Henderson - Weather
Molly Krantz - Local News
Steven Gordon - Monster Reports

There's a lot to consider with these three around, and a lot of questions that need to be asked. How did they manage to set up a working broadcast? Where are they? Was this live? And if they're really actual people and not some crazy illusion made by the scientists, then how many other natives are still around? Are the reporters involved with the scientists? If that's the case, this may just be the scientists humoring us.

2. The Satellite.
The report pretty much clears any doubt that Accido isn't just a neighboring territory, but a rival of Discedo as well, involved and more than likely responsible for bringing on the Atropos Virus to this city originally. Even though Discedo's been trashed, Accido may very well still be out there. And, check this out -- Ms. Krantz referred to Discedo as a nation. (Granted, she may just be refering to the country that we're in, but it gives us insight to the geography and general territory lines of ths country as a whole.) I think this calls for a border search. With less chips, this time.

3. Monsters.

While the dogs are going down for the count, Poe (what the heck are those?) are starting to spread throughout the apartment buildings. Has anyone noticed them? Are they attacking? And even if they aren't, wouldn't it be smart to set up guard inside of the apartment building for this kind of thing? There are tons of people living in those buildings, guys -- an emergency crew should be posted at all times. I mean, common sense, right? I haven't kept up with a lot of the police news, but if they don't set up teams for it, would anyone want to help me start them?

I'm trying to get more information from everyone else on how "teevee" works, so if anyone can give me a heads up, let me know.

... What.

You're kidding me, right? No, no way! I mean, I went back. Suki, Katara, Aang, Toph.. everyone was there! There's no way - it's not possible. I mean, come on, give me a break!

... Well, this is just great. Look, uh - is anyone still there? Come on, guys, let me know what's happened. It doesn't seem like things have changed a lot, but I've been gone for a while, I think. Well, two weeks, back home. Feels like forever, though.

Out of the fire and into the lion's den. Or, uh, the giant two-headed dog's den, if we're going to get technical.

With all of the new arrivals, maybe we should start thinking about revising and updating the "guides" we have. I can re-draw the maps, if need be, and maybe make a copy of the mountain map with whatever updated information the new teams have.

Who's with me?

Since there are two teams heading into the mountains, I'm going to try my best to detail what we found there and what you should look out for:

- The path in is pretty much infested with domestic animals--cougars, bears, things like that. Most people with fighting ability can bring these guys down. (It's weird, that we've got more "normal" animals like that.. though, they're not so normal where I come from.) But, what you need to look out for above everything are these things that Vegeta called, I think, Saybermen? They're tiny and green, with enormous heads, and they're kind of frog-like. Do not, by any means, let them get a hold of you. They're absolutely insane, and if they get a good hold on you, they have the ability to self-destruct--taking you with them.

- A ways up, there's a ranch that's completely deserted, save for a few chicken corpses. We searched it, and there's not much there at all. If you guys want to run through it again (though, I don't think there's much time for that) then, by all means, go for it. A few cougars hang around those parts, though, so it'd be best to go in prepared for that.

- Last time, we found pamphlets that come with maps of the mountain area. I can draw quick copies of them now and have them to you before you leave, if you guys want them. They're kind of vague, but they might help a little bit, I think.

- I don't know whether it hangs outside of the canyon, or whether there happens to be more than one, but the Behemoth is something you need to watch out for: It's huge, purple, and has a weird heart on it's.. chest, I think. Roxas might know a little bit about it, but either way, it's best to avoid if most of the team still has their chips in. This is the samne monster that sent us running home on broken legs, and nearly killed one of our men. So, be careful.

Let me know, guys--and make sure to ask questions, not only for me, but anyone who went on the last expidition.

You know, this is starting to get really irritating. I'm sick and tired of coming up with plans to take down psychopaths and get people out of here. You know what? Maybe I don't want to leave! Maybe I don't want to go back and face the fact that the fire lord and his psycho-army've totally taken over the world! You guys ever think about that?! No, you don't!

And maybe I don't want girls hanging all over me! Maybe I don't want Suki to be here, and maybe I'm sick of Ty Lee hanging around!

And you know what?! You guys need to lay off when it comes to Azula. She isn't crazy! She's just a normal girl who needs a few friends! But no, you jerks just don't get that! She's a good person!

And, for the record, I'm glad Katara's gone. She was a total pain, anyway. All she does is whine.

Just one thing after the other, huh?

Serial killers and giant monsters aside, this is what we found on the mission:

- An abandoned ranch. Save for some random tools, the place was completely barren. There was a giant hole in the outer fence, and given certain markings and dents in it, I'm guessing that the larger animals that lived there got out a long time ago. Together, I imagine--possibly to escape from something, if they all left at the same time.

- Tourist Pamphlets. These things come with a map of the mountain and also mean that Discedo wasn't just a city, but also, maybe, some kind of attraction. Sort of like Ba Sing Se, or whatever other metropolis-type of city you guys had back home.

- A GIANT PURPLE MONSTER. But what's important about this monster and the timing of a storm in the mountains, I think, is that we had just reached a bridge that was out. We could have figured out a way to get across if we weren't stopped. What I'm trying to say is, it seemed really, really convenient.

We found a few abandoned campsites, too. That's where Logan found the tourist pamphlets. We didn't have much time to rummage through them, so maybe we should go back where there isn't a GIANT PURPLE MONSTER waiting to maim us.

Hey, Prydain, do we have any meat left over? I'm starving.

[there are loud shouts, mainly male, but all seem to be lost in static. Maniacal, inhuman laughter mixes in with the noise, and Sokka's voice raises above them, calling ou to the others.

No--! Don't attack them! We don't know if they're--what are those things?! Stay close, everybody. Maybe we can bolt--

Aah! No--!

Okay! Okay. Now that the whole "Oh no! Azula Causes Trouble In Discedo! (Part Three: Return of the Crazy)" ordeal is over, I think it's time we get focused and get out of here.

So, uh, Team Let's Get Out of Here! Get your supplies ready. We're leaving Saturday morning, but we're meeting in front of Gohl House first to evaluate all the supplies everyone's brought, what route we're taking, and who can play which part on our team.

If anyone's interested in heading out to try and find something outside of the city with us, let me know, and more importantly: show up.

If you've got questions, ask them here! I'm at my post all night.

HEY. WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU PEOPLE?!

What's with you guys forgiving him and being so nice?! Why do you let him get away with this?!

I don't care about what kind of horrible childhood this guy had. No one--No one has the right to do this.

Stop treating him like an injured kitten and get your heads on straight!

He's not a child who needs help. He's not a friend in need.

He's a murderer. Plain and simple.

Think straight, Discedo, and stop crying over him.

When are we stopping this?!

We need to move.

Sometime tonight, Ness is going to go take on Walter--he wanted to do it alone, and there really was no way I could stop him.

I want to catch Walter in the middle of it. Jackie--have you talked to, uh, little Walter yet? Can he get us a location?

Until we get one, the plan remains set. Here are our teams, as of now:

THE LOOK OUTS

Donald Duck - North
Jackie Estacado - East
Johnny Garland - West
Bulma Briefs - South

You guys are covering four regions of the city. Take as many people with you as you need, and go only as far into your region as you feel comfortable with. There's really very little chance that Walter or the others would go out too far since all of us are in the inner city, so just worry about surveillance over your area. The larger the team, the better. On that note, if anyone hadn't volunteered before and still wants in on this, pick a region and meet up with whoever is station there.

Aang. If you're up for it, I'd really like it if you kept special surveillance over the residential area. Ness was still hanging around here, so they might be around those parts especially.

THE BARRIER SQUAD
Iroh
Muscles Lexaeus
Testament
Bou
Nicholas D. Wolfwood
Shiek
Samus

We need more people for this squad.
Long-range fighters, or fast runners who can cover lots of ground are good. No matter your weapon of choice, guys, the barrier can't stand strong with such a small amount of people. Uh, Muscles--if you're alright with it, I want you to stay with the barrier squad. I thought we'd have more people, and you'd do really great with these guys.

Either way, you guys are heading out just a bit after the look outs are. When they give you the signal, surround Walter's area and make sure no one gets in or out. Bou can create a barrier to keep him in, but he can't keep people out, and he can only hold it for so long. Work together, be careful, and stay strong.

ATTACK AND APPREHEND TEAM

Sokka
Katara
Ty Lee
Aragaki Shinjiro
Sonic
Shadow
Ocelot
Helen
Reno
Umi Ryuuzaki

The Ghost Busters

Ichigo
Keigo

You guys are responsible solely for Kirie. I'm leaving her up to you entirely. Thanks, again, for all your help.

Ungrouped

Baltheir
Justice Man [ooc: Uh, Gabranth.]
Robot Guy
Merchant Guy.

Pick a group, and go right for it. If you want me to update and move you into a group, just let me know, okay?

I need runners from this team to work between both our team and the Barrier Squad. If we need you, we'll be dispatching you down with us--but when you start out, you'll be part of the barrier squad, surrounding the area. Any takers?

We'll e the last to come in, but we'll arrive at the same time as the barrier squad. Instead of rushing in, we'll station outside of the barrier until I signal for us to move. We'll attack from all surrounding points, and corner him--the only ones that won't move in immediately will be the ones stationed on the barrier, as well as Katara and Ty Lee. Once we have the area secure, Katara will run in and use her bloodbending to control his movement. Once she has control, Ty Lee'll move in and take out his ability to move. We'll secure him afterward, and move him out.

The job won't be over until we get Walter somewhere secure. Because of that, the barrier squad will need to branch out and move alongside us from a distance. Look Outs, I need for you to stay where you are, too and warn us if you see anyone acting strange or one of Walter's ally-types heading our way.

On top of all that, if we have volunteers, I'd like to try and get a diversion squad together. You guys'll dispatch with us, but head out elsewhere to throw off anyone who tries to attack while we're  trying to  take care of Walter.  I know it's last minute, but Bou told me about this kind of idea, and I think it works out well.

Oh! And the codename for Walter is Mama's Boy
. Yeah? Yeah?

Stay tuned, guys. I'll be giving the signal soon.

edit:

There's been an explosion at Latimir.

Look Outs
--Head out and keep your position! When you see something, comment here.

Other Squads: Stay in your position, and watch this transmission for updates.

edit2:

Barrier Squad, move out--head toward Latimir street and secure the entire area.

A&AT Squad! Follow behind in exactly four minutes.

edit3:

Everybody in! Let's finish this!
